BUSINESS EDUCATION
Training and Development Graduate Program
Currently, I am enrolled in a graduate degree program at Texas A&M that specializes in Training and Development and Adult Learning. I also completed a 7 week Instructional Design certification course from the Association of Talent Development in 2020. This course is designed to teach and apply the ADDIE model instructional design process (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) which aligns performance needs with organizational goals.
Educational Human Resource Development
SHRM defines Human Resources management as "the knowledge of principles, practices, and functions of effective human resource management." I am currently enrolled in a three month professional certification course in HR talent management at Michigan State University to learn more about strategic business management, workforce planning, HR development, and knowledge of HR technology. I expect to complete this certification by February, 2021.
Supply Chain Management
At Central Washington University, I earned a Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Supply Chain Management. At Gensco I applied what I learned by improving their warehouse training program and their warehouse operational processes to make the distribution center more responsive and effective.
